Job Details: 

• To understand and scope requirements and prepare test scenarios, test conditions and test cases.

• Working with test management tools like Quality Centre (or any other tool), with all the tabs like Requirements, Test Lab, Defect management and reports as well.

• Appetite for innovations in test processes, automation, etc and should have suggested or implemented some kind of innovation on prior projects.

• will be working either within a project environment or independently in a Testing organization as well.

• Team management and handling

• data conversion from the legacy core banking system to the new one with capability to handle data mapping/ data migration testing.

Specification / Skills / Experience:
 • Should have worked in manual testing for about 4 to 6 years with at least 2 - 3 years in core banking domain.

• Working/ Functional knowledge and end to end testing knowledge on any industry banking product - Flex Cube/Temenos/Finnacle
• Testing experience in financial services domain such as
o Corporate Banking Modules

o Retail Banking Modules

o Trade Finance

o Non-fund based functions such as safe custody, locker operations

o End of day operations and verification of core reports

• Well versed with the testing process and methodologies and understand test metrics

• Good analytical skills should be able to understand and scope requirements and prepare test scenarios, test conditions and test cases.

• Have worked with test management tools like Quality Centre (or any other tool), with all the tabs like Requirements, Test Lab, Defect management and reports as well.

• Appetite for innovations in test processes, automation, etc and should have suggested or implemented some kind of innovation on prior projects.

• Should be able to work either within a project environment or independently in a Testing organization as well.

• Experience in data conversion from the legacy core banking system to the new one with capability to handle data mapping/ data migration testing.

• Experience in conducting functional testing and writing test cases.


• Candidate should be having very good written & verbal communication skills
